Insurance

I do not participate in any insurance plans but will provide monthly superbills with all of the information you need to submit to your insurance company. Many of my clients have been able to advocate for a "single case agreement" with their insurance company when there is not a local in-network provider who specializes in Selective Mutism.

Questions for your Insurance Company: â€‹

  • How much will be covered for sessions with the CPT codes 90791 (initial assessment), 90834 and 90837?

  • Am I responsible for a certain amount of payment each year (deductible) before my insurance starts to cover payments?

  • How many sessions are covered by my plan per calendar year?

  • How can I go about obtaining a single case agreement for an out-of-network specialist?
